The heart and soul of JMB Financial Services Group, Josh Barron has helped hundreds of clients pursue their unique plan goals and objectives since 2002.

Josh has earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® professional designation awarded by the Center for Fiduciary Studies. Josh has also earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School and is licensed to practice law in the State of Michigan. He is recognized as a top financial advisor named to LPL’s Chairman’s Club. This premier honor is awarded to less than 6% of LPL Financial’s approximately 14,000 advisors nationwide.

Hour Magazine and DBusiness named Josh a FIVE STAR Wealth Manager every year since 2012. This honor is given to those Detroit-area wealth managers who scored the highest in overall-satisfaction among their clientele. The 5-Star Wealth Manager is an award based on client satisfaction. Josh speaks regularly on important and timely institutional retirement topics and works directly with clients in 20 states.

Josh graduated with honors from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, with a concentration in finance and insurance. Prior to establishing his independent financial service practice, Josh worked in Chicago for a global consulting firm providing legal, tax and asset preservation analysis to large companies and high net worth individuals.

Outside the office Josh enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters. He also enjoys music, reading and travel.
